The painting metaphors emotional turbulence. The colour red is intensive, associated with sacrifice, danger, courage, heat, passion, joy and love. And I demonstrate it on the canvas with underpainting, brushes, charcoal, spatula, sgraffito, glazing, body and fingertips.

For me, the usage of pigment mixed with melted wax/encaustic technique, gives me the feeling of body, the skin, its vessels, movement and shaping. Hair, teeth, clothing are all bodyments of life within my paintings, happenings, experiments and my reflection on myself, others and society.
