Nine Paintings

The work Nine I did as a student at the Iceland University of Arts where I was experimenting the platform of the painting. The final work was a installation of video, painting and sculpture. 

Each video performance was played at the same time, over and over again, (each about an one hour long), next to each other on a big wall.

Both the wall and floor canvas was exhibited next to the video screening and sculptures that were created hanged in the ceiling.The first video performance started with an empty canvas, and the nine performance finished the canvas. 

The work was inspired by Heiddegger´s theories of reality and one of my first art experiment where I explored existentialism within my concept of art.
